Due to the nature of our hunting adventures, many of which are challenged by both the terrain and noble species found across Asian and European hunting theaters, proper photography and videography requires a keen sense of what the hunt involves, a unique set of mountain-tested, in-the-moment action capture skills, and cutting-edge equipment.
In a class by himself, Imtiaz Ahmad is our go-to big game hunting and wildlife filmmaker, cinematographer and documentary storyteller. His career spans nearly two decades across Pakistan and multiple other international hunting destinations. He has spent his life in the highest mountain ranges of the world – the great high-altitude chains of the now leopard that define northern Pakistan – the Karakoram Range (home to K2), the Himalayas (Western Himalaya), the Hindu Kush, the Pamirs, and Hindu Raj. He has supported many expeditions at K2.
Since beginning independent wildlife filmmaking in 2007, he has worked with NGOs, government departments, tourism and development organizations, expedition teams, international hunters, and private clients, covering wildlife and conservation topics, international hunting expeditions, documentaries, and promotional films.
He specializes in field cinematography in remote mountain environments, capturing authentic wildlife behavior, landscapes, cultures, and human interest stories with a strong documentary approach.
He has worked on several international hunting and wildlife film projects, creating documentary-style visual content focused on wildlife, remote landscapes, hunting tourism and guided hunting expeditions, capturing the natural landscapes, wildlife behavior, field experiences and expedition stories for documentary storytelling and promotional use.
He is adept at working in remote outdoor environments with international hunters, guides and field teams, showcasing his expertise in wildlife videography and on-location cinematography.
